Hi Jeanie!
I'm so excited to hear that you're planning a Thanksgiving Holiday vacation at Walt Disney World! There are so many special touches around the theme parks and resorts that it is always the perfect kick-off to the holidays!
I totally understand the need for Pumpkin! While I tend to gravitate to more of the pumpkin-spice type offerings, it really doesn't seem like Thanksgiving without a slice of pie. Official menu offerings will not be available until closer to Thanksgiving, but based on prior years, I can offer some advice - just keep in mind that it may change this year, it is hard to predict perfectly!
There are a couple of great options at the Walt Disney World Resorts that you can consider. This has the advantage of being outside of a park, so you'll find that it may be a bit less crowded than venues inside the parks. First up is my favorite:
Whispering Canyon Cafe at
Disney's Wilderness Lodge. This family-style meal usually includes turkey, ham, stuffing, and more in an all-you-can-eat meal! Just watch out or you may be too stuffed to finish off with the Pumpkin Pie! Another great resort choice is
Boatwright's Dining Hall at
Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort. This less well-known gem offers a holiday feast, complete with the coveted Pumpkin Pie your husband requires!
Another option to stay outside the Disney Theme Parks is to dine at
Disney Springs. The options here are plentiful AND delicious. If you have any younger kids in your group, they may love a chance to dine at T-Rex. You can incorporate a traditional feast with roaring dinosaurs! Also, in past years both
Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill and
House of Blues Restaurant and Bar have both featured Pumpkin Pie on their menu!
For in-park dining options, the
Rainforest Cafe at Disney's Animal Kingdom usually offers a traditional meal which ends with Pumpkin Pie.
I hope this helps! Enjoy planning your upcoming trip and be sure to let the Disney Parks Moms Panel know if we can help with any additional (and delicious!) details!
