My main question, best time. Would the week of Thanksgiving(Nov.22 thru Nov.29) be a fairly decent time to go. My oldest says it will be to cold and would have to wear coats all the time. My trip depends on her going because this will be her 19th b'day.

There are some issues with going to WDW during Thanksgiving, but they have nothing to do with weather. The weather in late November at WDW is usually quite fine. I just double checked with weather.com and found that the average daytime high in late November is in the mid-70s and the average nighttime low is about 60. Nothing about that says "coats all the time" to me. I would probably bring a sweater or light jacket for the evenings, but I think the day time temperature would be perfect for park touring. Another bonus is that the rainy season should be over by then, so you won't have to worry about storms every day.

However, while weather is not a problem at Thanksgiving, the crowds might be. Major holidays are historically among the most crowded times at WDW and Thanksgiving is no exception. You're likely to face lines for most attractions. One way to combat the crush is to make reservations for as much as you can in advance including meals, tours, shows, and recreation. If you have things set in advance, you won't be fighting the crowds as much.

On the plus side, if you decide to come at Thanksgiving, you will be able to see the wonderful holiday decorations in all the parks and resorts. This is a great way to put you in the mood for the season.

Good luck with your daughter and I hope she has a happy birthday no matter what you decide.
