Hello there, Thomas.
Welcome to planDisney! Boy oh boy, I bet you are more than a little excited to embark on your adventure to
The Most Magical Place on Earth this fall. Can you believe you'll get to sail to Arendelle, fly with Dumbo, and travel to a galaxy far, far away? It's never too early to start
counting down the days until you're off to Neverland!
There's so much to look forward to on your trip, Thomas, like the
50th Anniversary Celebration festivities. Be sure to check out the
Beacons of Magic at night and snap some photos with the
Disney Fab 50 Character Collection. Plus, you’ll have the chance to sip and savor your way through EPCOT at the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. Your stomach and taste buds will thank you!
I’m sorry to be the one to burst your Mickey balloon, but Walt Disney World Resort no longer mails out physical copies of the
theme park guide maps. Hakuna matata though, because you have other options for exploring all the parks have to offer. You can view a digital scan of the guide maps on each theme park’s webpage by scrolling down to the very bottom of the page and clicking the link under the interactive map. If it’s easier, you can find the maps using the following links:
EPCOT,
Magic Kingdom Park,
Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
You can also explore the theme parks using the interactive map feature in your
My Disney Experience mobile app. You can zoom in and out, filter it by location, select various categories, and more. Of course, once you arrive for your trip, you'll be able to get paper maps from each park.
Thomas, I can't wait for you to be right in the middle of the magic making memories! A dream is a wish your heart makes, and I hope all your dreams come true on your trip.
TTFN (ta-ta for now),
Alyssa
