The Magnolia Mansions, being the only ones that have elevators, do they have Royal Rooms there? My Mom is coming and she has a hard time with stairs, but we reserved a Royal River view. Do you know if that’s an option at Magnolia?

Hi Kelly! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside holds so many magical memories for me and my family.  Some of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort vacations were spent staying at this Resort and I'm positive that you and your family will also enjoy every moment of your trip.  Make sure to save some time for cruising down the Sassagoula River to Disney Springs.  The view is just gorgeous and it's a quick and easy way to get to some of your favorite Disney Springs dining locations like Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' and Gideon's Bakehouse

The Royal Guest Rooms at Port Orleans - Riverside look practically perfect in every way, especially with the special headboards that let you experience "fireworks" right from your bed at night! Your mom, the queen, will be delighted by the details you'll find throughout the room, including the pictures of all your favorite Disney princesses and a "magic carpet" on the floor!

While you're correct that some of the buildings at Port Orleans - Riverside do not have elevators you will find that the two buildings in Magnolia Bend that house the Royal Guest Rooms (Oak Manor and Parterre Place) do, in fact, have elevators, making it a quick and easy trip for your mom to get to and from her Guest room.

I hope you have a royally good time while visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth!

When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
