Can we use magnetic things on the door of the Disney Fantasy? It looks like the website says they have wooden doors.

Welcome aboard, Nicole! Sailing with Disney Cruise Line is magical in itself, but many families bring a little extra pixie dust by decorating their stateroom doors with Disney-themed magnets! Not only does this bring a personalized touch and pop of color to the otherwise plain stateroom doors, but it sure helps you to find your own stateroom when yours stands out from the others.

Guests are allowed to use magnets on the stateroom doors, but no adhesives or other hooks/hangers that could damage the doors or paint. You'll see lots of stateroom doors with personalized Mickey ears, personalized cruise magnets, and other fun Disney characters. Many guests make their own. My family and I used to buy magnet paper to print the personalized family magnets we designed on the computer, but we've found the magnets last longer and stay better on the doors when we print them on card stock paper, laminate them, and then adhere stronger magnets on the back. We keep them on our garage door at home since it's magnetic, but toss them in the suitcase each time we sail, adding a new one or two for each new sailing!

The stateroom doors on all four ships are magnetic, with the exception of the Concierge level staterooms on the Dream and the Fantasy, which have wooden doors. If you're not sailing as a Concierge Level guest, your Disney Fantasy stateroom will have a magnetic door, all ready to decorate, Nicole!

Have so much fun designing some fun magnets for your upcoming adventure at sea with Captain Mickey!
