    Is MagicBands no longer able to be purchased? I do not see anywhere where I can buy one.

    Hi there, Eric!

    I’m excited to hear you’ll be joining in on all the 50th Anniversary Celebration festivities at The Most Magical Place on Earth this year! Are you counting down the days yet? I know I would be!

    It sounds like you, too, are a fan of MagicBands. They’re such versatile devices that can be used to link your Disney PhotoPass pictures, enter the theme parks, charge purchases to your Disney Resorts Collection hotel room during your stay, and more. The conveniences they offer make them essential for any Disney day, in my opinion, so I don't leave home without packing a few.

    Eric, you can order customized MagicBands online via your My Disney Experience account as long as you are within the deadlines for doing so. If you want your MagicBands shipped to your home, you have to place your order at least 11 days in advance of your arrival. To place your MagicBand order, go to your "My MagicBands and Cards" page, scroll down until you see your Resort reservation details, and click on "Get Started.” Once you choose the name of the individual you want to order a MagicBand for, you will see the MagicBand options that are available at this time (make sure you click the icon that says "Grid View" to see the full scope of designs available). Select the MagicBand you want, then input the name you want printed on the MagicBand. Follow these steps for each MagicBand you need, then click "Proceed to Checkout" to complete the process.

    You can also order a MagicBand from shopDisney or purchase one on property once you arrive for your vacation. You would have to link the MagicBands yourself in those cases, but it's easy to do. Just log into your My Disney Experience account and head to the Link Reservations and Purchases page. Select “MagicBand” from the on-screen options, then enter the MagicBand ID number and walk through the remaining steps. If you have any issues linking a MagicBand, give the friendly Cast Members at the My Disney Experience and MagicBands line a ring at (407) 939-4357.

    Eric, in case you haven’t heard, MagicBands will be upgrading to MagicBand+ sometime later this year. They will have the same fantastic features of their predecessor, but they will have some exciting new features as well. I hear they’ll even interact with the nighttime spectaculars on property! How cool is that? Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for more updates on the arrival of MagicBand+.
