    I have a magicband+ that I'm trying to link to my ticket. It won't seem to link to my disneyland app as well.

    Hello, Christian,

    Technology can be both a blessing and a challenge, am I right? I love the convenience of using my MagicBand+ at the Disneyland Resort. Hopefully, I can offer a few tips to help get you closer to enhancing the magic of your visit to the Disneyland Resort with your MagicBand+.

    Of course, you’ll want to start with the regular MagicBand+ setup steps. The MagicBand+ support page also offers several helpful tips. And here are a few more things I recommend trying:

    1. When linking and pairing your MagicBand+, it’s a good idea to make sure the MagicBand+ is charged.
    2. Be sure you have downloaded the latest version of the Disneyland mobile app from your mobile device’s app store.
    3. Fully powering off and restarting your mobile phone can sometimes clear up certain issues.
    4. You can try a reset or factory reset of your MagicBand+. I have found this is especially helpful if I have been going back and forth between Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. A MagicBand+ factory reset is done with a short button press followed immediately by a long button hold for at least 15 seconds.
    5. If the MagicBand+ is already linked to another account, it will probably need to be unlinked first. This is what happened with my wife’s MagicBand+. But don’t worry, it’s pretty easy to unlink and relink a MagicBand+.
    6. In some cases, the name associated with a ticket may cause a glitch, especially if there doesn’t happen to be any name linked to a ticket. The Cast Members with the Tickets phone line can help with name changes.
    7. Finally, Cast Members at the various Guest Relations locations at the Disneyland Resort can also help with technical issues with your MagicBand+.

    I can’t wait for you to unlock the extra fun of your MagicBand+ at the Disneyland Resort, Christian. I love the interactions with many of our favorite attractions. Some of my favorites are at the exits of Haunted Mansion and WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure.
