Hi there, Kathleen! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
When I'm traveling, I always like to get my airport transportation squared away in advance. That way, I can truly feel like I'm on vacation as soon as I board my flight. When traveling to
Walt Disney World Resort, there are several convenient transportation options available to whisk you away from Orlando International Airport to your
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel.
Usually when I'm visiting my home away from home, I use Mears Connect to travel between the airport and Walt Disney World Resort. This affordable and convenient ground transportation service operates similarly to the Magical Express service that we remember from years past. You can find information on booking Mears Connect on the Orlando International Airport website or through an internet search for Mears Connect. It's quick and easy to reserve and pay for this service online before your trip. Once you arrive in Orlando, you will need to retrieve your checked luggage and then head to Terminal B, Level 1 to check in and catch your Mears shuttle bus. Mears Connect will take you to your resort hotel, and at the end of your stay, the service will pick you up at the hotel approximately three hours prior to your flight home.
In addition to Mears Connect, you also have the option to use a ride-share service for transportation to and from the airport. Some Guests also find it convenient to rent a car. If you decide to rent a car, you'll receive
complimentary self-parking at your Disney resort hotel. Also, registered resort hotel Guests can enjoy complimentary standard parking at the Walt Disney World theme parks.
I think you're going to love your stay at
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort. One of the best advantages of staying at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort is its close proximity to
Disney Springs. You'll have so many choices for shopping, dining, and entertainment that are just a quick walk or a relaxing
boat ride away! When visiting Disney Springs, be sure to stop by one of my favorite spots,
Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar, for a drink or a snack in a fun, themed environment. I recommend trying the Air Pirate's Cargo Loaded Pretzel and a Cool-headed Monkey.
Kathleen, if you have any other questions as you get ready for your trip, please stop by and visit us again. See ya real soon!
