What is Magical Beginnings, & does WDW still do it? I've read some answers on the subject, but the links I clicked just took me to the WDW site. I've tried searching the site also, but no luck. I have a 2-yr-old son.

    Hi Ashley,

Magical Beginnings is the name of a program that Disney did in partnership with Hasbro, primarily in 2006. There were some holdover parts of the program that lingered for a few years, but it is basically now defunct.

When it existed, the program gave a few special benefits to families with very small children, such a concerts directed at younger children and early opening time of child-favorite attractions.

Although Magical Beginnings doesn't really exist any more, there are still MANY wonderful benefits of bringing your two-year-old to the Disney parks. First and foremost, your son can enter the parks for FREE and in many situations can eat for FREE. That's all good in my book.

For more tips on visit the parks with preschoolers, check out the Disney website's in-depth planning pages.

Have a wonderful vacation. I'm sure you'll make memories to last a lifetime.
