We were at Magic Kingdom for a week Oct 2022. My husband has been dying to go on the Keys to the Kingdom tour. We will be in Florida April17-27. How would we go about scheduling this.

    Hi Lori!

I'm so happy to hear your husband loved his trip to Walt Disney World Resort's Magic Kingdom Park so much that he wants to go on the amazing Keys to the Kingdom Tour! I was fortunate enough to get to experience the tour a few years ago with a group of my best friends, and I can tell you that it was one of my favorite Disney memories ever.

During the Keys to the Kingdom Tour (part of Disney's Enchanting Extras Collection), Guests will enjoy a five-hour exploration of Magic Kingdom Park. It takes guests to backstage areas and attractions of the park, including the legendary underground Utilidors where Disney cast members, characters, supplies, and even garbage move around under the park unseen. It's an up-close look at the inner workings of the magic behind the theme park, and for a Disney fan like me, it was completely fascinating! (I might have even gotten emotional when we got a glimpse of some Disney parade performers heading out to entertain the Guests - a moment that my friends will never let me live down...)

The tour starts with an exploration of Magic Kingdom, focusing on the history, design, and hidden details that make the park special. You'll gain a deeper understanding of the stories behind the attractions and the park's overall layout. The tour often includes a special visit to the Haunted Mansion attraction, where you'll learn about the intricate details and special effects that bring this classic ride to life. You'll be provided with an extremely knowledgeable Tour Guide who can answer all of your questions about how magic is made!

Because of the small group size (around 20 Guests), advance reservations are strongly recommended, but they will take walkups based on availability. Guests are able to book this Enchanting Extras Collection experience 60 days out, so make sure to mark the date on your calendar! The tour is fully accessible for Guests with mobility needs, and a delicious lunch is included. Keep in mind that theme park admission and a Magic Kingdom Park Pass reservation are also required. Guests must be 16 years or older (with a valid ID) to participate.

I hope this helps with your planning, and that you and your husband get a chance to enjoy this fabulous tour! Sending lots of pixie dust your way!
