Can we get into Magic Kingdom before rope drop with a 9:15 ADR at CP? Would like pics on Main Street empty and younges has Down Syndrome and it takes him a while to get anywere. Am afraid we will miss ADR if let in with the crowd at rope drop.

    Jennifer,

If you have an Advanced Dining Reservation at a park restaurant (any restaurant in any of the four theme parks) that is set for on or before the opening time of the park, they will let you in early. In the Magic Kingdom you will also find that the PhotoPass photographers will be there to take pictures, even though the park is not yet "officially" open.

All you need to do is go to the restaurant cast member that is standing at the gate with a clipboard of the reservations. That is who let's you in early.

But to be sure, you should do the following. Call back the reservation line and explain your situation for that meal (give them your confirmation number). They should be able to add that information to the reservation.

Also, you should consider contacting Disney for a Guest Assistance Card. This card will help you in similar moments where your child might need some extra TLC to get through an attraction or dining experience. It is just another example of Disney taking care of it's guests!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
