Hi Jennifer!
Thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question!
I bet you are getting excited about your upcoming vacation! September is a wonderful time of year to visit because the crowds are low, the weather is wonderful, and the fall decor is abundant!
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be held on select nights from August 12 to October 31. On those nights, the park closes early for guests who do not have a ticket to the event. The event includes
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show,
Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, a
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, and trick or treating! If you do not have a ticket to the event, you will not be able to watch the fireworks in
Disney's Magic Kingdom, as you will need to leave when the park closes at 6pm. The Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show will take place at 10:15 pm.
However, you could make an advanced dining reservation for
Disney's California Grill for that evening and watch the fireworks from atop Disney's Contemporary Resort after dinner. Another option is to take the monorail over to Disney's Polynesian Resort after you leave Magic Kingdom. You can grab cocktails at
Trader Sam's Grog Grotto and then head down to the beach and watch the fireworks from there.
If you get a chance, I highly encourage attending the party! It's so much fun and is an event you won't forget!
Magically,
Stacy
