Welcome to planDisney, Jacqueline! As my family would be saying right now, "Only one more sleep before Walt Disney World!"
As you noted,
Magic Kingdom Park opens tomorrow at 8:00 am for guests who are not staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection or other select hotel. With
Early Entry Hours, Walt Disney World Resort Guests can enter the park at 7:30 am. If you are driving to the Magic Kingdom for entry at 8:00 am, I would recommend getting to the
parking lot by 7:00 or 7:15 am. It is a busy time of year with many schools on Spring Break, and mornings are especially busy with so many people trying to enjoy their favorite attractions when the lines are shorter.
From the parking lot, you can walk or take a tram to the Ticket and Transportation Center where you will go through security screening and hop on the
Disney Monorail to the Magic Kingdom. Once the clock strikes 8, you will be able to scan your ticket or
MagicBand+ and walk under the
Walt Disney World Railroad - Main Street U.S.A. tracks to leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy.
To ease your time in the security process, make sure you are not bringing any
prohibited items. (My husband always has his Swiss Army knife with him and has to remember to not put it in his pocket out of habit.) If you have a metal water bottle or other metal object that may trigger the security screening, take these out of your bag and hold them in your other hand to reduce the likelihood of needing a bag check.
I hope it all goes well for you and you have a wonderful day at the Most Magical Place on Earth.
See 'Ya Real Soon!
