    We are going to Magic Kingdom on one of the Mickey’s Christmas Party days, and will not be staying for the party. The park closes at 6:00 but we have a dinner reservation for 6:05. Would we be able to eat and then leave the park afterwards?

    Hi there, Kathryn!  Welcome to planDisney.

    I think it is a very smart move to visit Magic Kingdom Park on a date when Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will be held.  Because the park closes to day Guests at 6:00 pm, many Guests avoid visiting because of the early closing time.  However, those in the know will find generally lower crowds and shorter wait times than on other days with longer hours.

    Cinderella's Royal Table and Be Our Guest Restaurant are the designated locations for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party dining this year and will close to day Guests at 5:55 pm.  Reservations are available for party Guests from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.  If you have a reservation for after 6:00 pm at one of these locations, your reservation confirmation should state "MVMCP - Be Our Guest" or "MVMCP - Cinderella's Royal Table".  This indicates a reservation for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party dining, and a ticket for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is required.

    Other dining locations in Magic Kingdom Park, such as The Crystal Palace, Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen, Liberty Tree Tavern, and The Plaza Restaurant remain open for all Guests until 7:00 pm.  If you have a reservation for after 6:00 pm at a location other than Cinderella's Royal Table or Be Our Guest, you are welcome to stay to enjoy your dinner and will be ushered to the front of the park at the conclusion of your meal.
