Hi there, Krista,
Welcome to
planDisney! It's always a great day when I can assist a fellow Canadian with a question about Walt Disney World. Your trip is just around the riverbend so let's hop to it!
There are many Disney Resorts Collection hotels at Disney World and each is unique with its theming. My family loves staying at different resorts to experience the new sights, sounds, and amenities that make each one special. Even if you’re not staying there, Guests are welcome to visit other resorts (they cannot use the resort's amenities). It’s a great way to explore the atmosphere, try delicious dining options at Quick Service or Table Service restaurants, or browse the resort’s gift shop for special souvenirs.
When travelling to another Disney resort, I recommend taking advantage of Disney Transportation by bus, monorail, boat or
Skyliner. Depending on your starting point, you can take the bus or the Skyliner when travelling to
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. If you’re starting your day at Disney Springs, consider using the bus system - it’s conveniently located at the central bus stop and easy to find. The bus will drop you off right in front of Animation Hall, home to the Front Desk!
Another option is to use a
Minnie Van™ Connected by Lyft - it's a wonderful way to travel (in style!) within Walt Disney World Resort. Each theme park has a designated Minnie Van pick-up and drop-off location near the buses.
Krista, I hope this information helps with your vacation planning. Wishing you a wonderful vacation to Disney World, I hope the last pieces of your puzzle are falling into place! If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to stop by - we'd love to help!
Enjoy making magical memories,
Candace
