Hello! We are going to be at Magic Kingdom next Thursday with our girls. We are curious how the parade seating works? When do they rope it off and how do we claim a spot? And can we stay there for fireworks too?? Thanks! :)

    Hi Ayla,

Hooray for your trip to the Magic Kingdom! It truly is a special place to spend time with family!

You will see the cast members setting up for the parade about an hour before. They will begin roping off the parade route so that guests can not cross into the parade route. To claim your spot, simply sit down or stand and enjoy the parade. My family rarely gets to a parade prior to 30 minutes. We often walk up to it and enjoy. We like being in Frontierland or Liberty Square.

If you are seeing a night time parade, you can stay in the same spot for the evening fireworks as well.

    Wishing you a magical day!
