If we are in the magic Kingdom when the very merry Christmas party starts will we be sent out? How will they do this?

Hey, Diana! Thank you for your questions.

Day guests at the Magic Kingdom theme park will have complete access to everything at the park until the regular park closing time of 6 P.M. on the nights that Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is held. Once the park closes,  the cast members do a sweep of the park to remind guests without tickets for the party that the park has closed, and they do have you exit the theme park. .

Guests of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party will have wristbands. The cast members look for the wrist band in knowing who can stay and who will be ushered out.

I cannot recommend enough that if you can squeeze it in, go to the party. My family and I skip the day in the park for a little rest and relaxation up until party time. The atmosphere is so filled with holiday spirit, and the lines for attractions tend to be much shorter than they are during the day. We can usually see and do way more during the party hours than we can during a busy day at the park. With complimentary snacks, holiday entertainment, and a visit from the Big Man in red himself, it's just a great event to attend.

Have a wonderful time on your upcoming visit!
