Howdy, Julie! I'd like to wish you a great big beautiful planDisney welcome. It looks like you're at
Walt Disney World Resort, so I'll admit to being a bit envious. I hope your vacation is off to a magical start, but it sounds like you have a little one in need of medication. Let's talk about some places to look!
My first suggestion is to stop by the
First Aid location between The Crystal Palace and Casey's Corner. I recently popped by there for band-aids and pain relievers, and I remember that they had various types of over-the-counter medications. It's hard for me to say precisely what they'll have on hand, but I bet they'll have something that will help. My husband had a medical emergency at EPCOT, and the First Aid staff there was spectacular in getting him what he needed. I have faith in them, Julie!
The
Baby Care Center is near First Aid at Magic Kingdom and often has kid-friendly items for purchase, so that's an alternative if First Aid can't help. A pal of mine said she thinks she saw liquid Benadryl for sale there a few months ago.
Another option is to swing by the
Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A., which sells commonly used medications. Ask at any checkout counter, as they typically keep single-use medicines in a box behind the counter.
My final tip is to place an order through a grocery delivery service. You can have items like medicines, snacks, and drinks
delivered to your Disney Resort hotel. Bell Services will hang onto them until you can pick them up. My husband and I did this when we stayed at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa this spring. Having snacks and beverages in our room after a day in the parks was fabulous. Ordering a few first-aid items is a great idea; I must remember that for my next visit.
Julie, I hope all is well with your young prince or princess. We don't want anything to spoil the magic! Please
stop by planDisney anytime.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
