We will be at the Magic Kingdom on July 4th. I don't see a fire works display on the calendar...that surprises me. Is this truly the case??

    Hi Angie,

I can absolutely guarantee you that is not correct. Our family spent the Fourth of July at Disney World, a few years ago, and enjoyed one of the most incredible firework shows ever at the Magic Kingdom. Typically the Magic Kingdom presents  a tribute to America "Celebrate America" on both the 3rd and 4th. While the show is not listed on the park calendar yet, I have been told by a few of my Cast Member friends that it is indeed in the works for this and just has not been finalized. If I remember correctly the show last year was around 9pm and I would expect something similar this year. Once the information is announced, you will be able to find the time here.

On a side note, just remember the parks are extremely popular over the holiday weekend and may close if crowds reach capacity level. If you want to be sure to be in Magic Kingdom for the evening performance, you will want to plan on arriving earlier in the day and staying.

    Have a great time!
