Can the Magic Kingdom fireworks be viewed from the Contemporary and if so, what is the best location?

    HI Heather!

The Contemporary is an excellent place to view the fireworks! There are two main options for viewing the fireworks (assuming you are not staying at the resort with a Magic Kingdom view room!):
    • 4th floor observation deck - This area is located at the end of the Contemporary closest to Bay Lake Towers. This viewing area is public and open to anyone. There also a few benches located here, but you'll need to arrive early to grab one of these seats!
    • California Grill - There is an observation area on top of the Contemporary that is open to anyone who has enjoyed a meal at the restaurant that day. If you can work out the timing, the fireworks can actually be seen from most tables while you enjoy your meal. If you've chosen to eat lunch or an earlier dinner, you can also show your receipt at the California Grill check in desk. They will escort you to the restaurant so that you can view the fireworks from the outdoor observation area.
Both of these areas also include the music from the Wishes fireworks show. Its a great place to experience the fireworks!

    Enjoy your trip!
