Hi Heather!
I know you are getting so excited for your upcoming trip to
Walt Disney World with your four-year old son! My son still remembers a lot of details from his trip to the most magical place on earth when he was four, so there is a good chance your son will hold these memories close to his heart forever!
I am excited to share the must-do tips for traveling to
Magic Kingdom with a little one. When you arrive, head over to Fantasyland where there are so many fun attractions for littles. My son loved
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh not only for the attraction, but for the fun interactive queue. There are interactive honey walls, a walk-in tree-house, and a faux garden that will keep him entertained. Another must-do attraction with an interactive queue is
Dumbo. Your son can play in the circus-themed playground while you sit and relax. A Cast Member will provide you with a pager that will ding when it's time to board the attraction. Another super fun activity is the
Casey Jr. Splash 'N' Soak Station! This water play area is located near Dumbo and kids adore it! One of my daughter's favorite things to do at Magic Kingdom when she was little was to put on her swimsuit and splash around in the water.
I also encourage you to make an
Advanced Dining Reservation at
Crystal Palace. They have a great kids menu that is sure to please! If you prefer to have a quick service meal, check out The Lunching Pad, which has hot dogs and Mickey Pretzels with cheese. And definitely don't miss the little fun moments, like sitting on a bench and enjoying a Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Bar together! Check out the
Planning for Preschool Kids & Little Ones Guide for more tips and information.
Thank you for allowing me to help you plan this magical trip with your son! I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
