Can you get into the magic kingdom earlier than the park opening time if you have breakfast reservations?

    Hi, Lauren!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  We're so glad you stopped by with your dining question.  My family loves early breakfast reservations inside the theme parks. After all, what can be better than walking down Main Street, U.S.A. and seeing the iconic Cinderella Castle in a near empty park followed by a delicious breakfast to start your day? Be sure to take a few pictures of Cinderella Castle on the way to your dining location.

Rest assured, you will definitely be allowed to enter Magic Kingdom Park prior to official park opening in order to make your Advanced Dining Reservation on time. Once you arrive at the park, be sure to look for the special entrance which will be marked for Guests with early breakfast reservations.  If you don't see where that is, you can ask any Cast Member and they will be happy to direct you to the appropriate entrance.  You will need to verify that you have a breakfast reservation so keep your confirmation number handy.  In my experience, the timing for when Cast Members release Guests to enter the park has always been subject to change; however, we have always been given ample time to arrive at our dining location without having to rush. That being said, I do recommend arriving to the theme park at least 30 - 45 minutes prior to your Advanced Dining Reservation.

I hope you find this to be helpful, Lauren. Let us know if you have any new questions that arise in the days leading up to your trip. Best wishes for a magical vacation!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
