Hiya Michelle,
I am so glad you dropped in to planDisney with your question. How exciting! You are less than a month away from your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. There are so many new and exciting things to enjoy including one of my favorites, the nighttime fireworks spectacular,
Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom.
I spend a lot of time at Magic Kingdom. It is, hands down, my favorite Walt Disney World theme park. Therefore I am often needing to transport myself from the park to other locations, especially
Disney Springs for dining reservations or some much needed Disney shopping. Outside of using Aladdin's Flying Carpet, I find
Disney's Resort Transportation to be the best option for moving around Walt Disney World. The complimentary service can take you just about anywhere you need to go within Walt Disney World, you just need to determine the best option. Disney Springs can be reached by either buses running from the resorts, or at select resorts there would be a boat option. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort and want to stop by your room first, simply return to your hotel by bus, boat or monorail (depending on the resort you are staying at) and from your resort, grab a bus directly to Disney Springs. If you do not need to stop at your resort, my favorite option is to with walk or take the monorail to the Contemporary Resort and head to the Disney bus loading area. There you will be able to catch a bus directly to Disney Springs.
Hope this helps! Happy shopping! If you need help with any additional planning questions, please
stop back and see me.
With pixie dust,
Margaret
