    We will be in Magic Kingdom on December 6. Are there any special details that we need to know about the opening of New Fantasyland? Any special events that day?

    Wow! I'm so excited for you. Being at the Magic Kingdom on the opening day of the new Fantasyland will make you a real part of history.

    I wish I had some news to tell you about plans for the big day, but unfortunately no details have been announced yet. Disney typically gives very short notice about specific plans for special events. For example, details about plans for Epcot's 30th birthday celebration (taking place today!) were made public less than a month in advance.

    My best advice is to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog. They will certainly announce the news when plans are released.
