Hi, Marilyn!
Wow! I love to learn about someone who has been experiencing the magic of Disney since the beginning, and I'm sure you've seen lots of magical things happen at the Walt Disney World Resort over the last 45 years! One of the latest is the new fireworks show that premiered at Magic Kingdom back in May. My family was in awe when we saw
Happily Ever After for the first time a few weeks ago. It was just breathtaking, and I can't pinpoint my favorite part because we loved it all-the amazing special effects, unforgettable music and the way the sky around Magic Kingdom was all-aglow by the colorful fireworks. I wish I could have watched it over and over again!
It sounds like you'll have a chance to experience this magnificent show on an upcoming visit to Magic Kingdom. All Guests, those staying on-site or off, are allowed to stay in the park to see this firework spectacular at closing. Since this show is so new, you'll want to find a spot a few minutes before 8:00 p.m. The Hub area right in front of Cinderella Castle is a great viewing spot because you'll be able to see the projections on the castle clearly. If you are interested in a reserved viewing area, you may want to consider booking the
Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace or the
Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing. Both offer the same delectable desserts and drinks, but with different viewing locations. If you book the Tomorrowland Terrace option, you'll have a seat on the patio terrace while the Plaza Garden spot puts you a little closer on the grass.
Enjoy your visit!
