    I am going to the Magic Kingdom for my birthday, which happens to be Dec. 6th. I know that the New Fantasyland will be officially opening that day. Do you know what events will be taking place and what time should I plan to arrive?

    Congratulations on booking your Walt Disney World vacation during one of the most anticipated events of the year: The New Fantasyland Grand Opening! I, for one, am most excited to view the newest addition to the already fabulous Magic Kingdom theme park, as well as to savor some of the cuisine at Be Our Guest Restaurant, perhaps a drink at Gaston's Tavern, and of course, take a trip Under The Sea!

    The Grand Opening, being held on December 5-7th is by invitation only. Only those with the "awesome" invitation will be granted entry to the special events being held in New Fantasyland. It will be open to the general public, "officially", on December 8th.

    Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for more up to date information as the December date gets closer.
