Hi Diana,
My family loves starting our day at Magic Kingdom Park with the Let the Magic Begin welcome show and staying all the way until the Kiss Goodnight, a short farewell that brings Cinderella Castle back to life about a half an hour after the park closes for the night. I guess you could say that we like to start our day with goose bumps, end with warm fuzzies, and have our fill of magic and fun in between, so I completely understand your desire to stay all day long and not miss a minute of the magic!
I'm happy to let you know that yes, there are several
Table-service restaurants at Magic Kingdom Park where you could sit back and relax a bit in the middle of your day. You'll find Winnie the Pooh and friends at The Crystal Palace or Disney princesses at Cinderella's Royal Table, as well as several other delicious and fun options that don't include characters. These restaurants are quite popular, though, and
dining reservations are highly recommended. Since dining reservations open up 180 days in advance, you may not find a lot of availability, but don't give up! Cancellations happen frequently, especially as you get closer to your trip, so keep checking back. If you have your heart set on a
character meal, you could also look for availability at 1900 Park Fare or Chef Mickey's, which are both just a short monorail ride away. I'm sending some pixie dust that you'll find the perfect reservation to rest and refuel during your magical day!
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Diana, and please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip. I hope that you have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation!
Missy
