Hi! We will be at the magic kingdom already on the 31st, do we have to pay extra for the Halloween party?

Boo to you, Angelica, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a frightfully good way to celebrate the season. This party is being held on the evening you have planned to visit Magic Kingdom Park. It begins at 7:00 p.m. and Guests wanting to attend the ghoulishly fun celebration are required to purchase a separate ticket to remain in Magic Kingdom Park once the rousing ruckus begins. After 7 o'clock, you will notice Cast Members checking for wristbands that are given to Guests as they enter the party. If you do not have a wristband or ticket, then you will be directed to the front of the park to exit.

The party being held on October 31, 2016, is currently showing that it has sold out. After Magic Kingdom Park closes to regular Guests and you make your exit, consider checking out the Magic Kingdom-area resorts. You could plan an Advance Dining Reservation and continue the festivities into the late evening. In my experience, we have been able to view the fireworks from Happy HalloWishes nighttime spectacular from various vantage points at the area resorts. If you prefer, you could also hop on the complimentary Disney bus transportation to Disney Springs for dinner and shopping.

I hope this information helps you plan your day at Walt Disney World Resort, Angelica. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
