Do magic key holders need a park reservation to dine at StoryTellers’ Cafe?

Hey there, hi there, Vianey! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you stopped by with your dining question!

I love when other Magic Key holders stop by with questions! Welcome to the Magic Key family! Storytellers Cafe is located in Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and not in the parks, so you do not need park reservations to dine. You will need to get dining reservations for this, as walk-up accommodations are not guaranteed. Currently, they are offering the character breakfast dining experience and then a dinner option that is not a character experience. I also want to make sure you are aware that for the next few weeks, Storytellers Cafe is undergoing a refurbishment, so these dining experiences will be located in the Trillium Room.

If you are looking for an exclusive dining opportunity for Magic Key holders, you can try Magic Key Terrace located in Disney California Adventure Park. You will need park reservations for this, as well as the dining reservation. It's a fun little area tucked away above Golden Vine Winery and I love that the menu changes and there are new bites to try. You can even bring friends who are not Magic Key passholders as long as a Magic Key holder is present for a total of 4 Guests per party.

Vianey, thanks so much for stopping by! We are here if you have any other questions!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
