Good afternoon! I am looking at booking the Disney breakfast buffet for my 2 year old on August 30th. I see there is only an option to reserve for 2 people so either my husband or I would have to miss. Does the 2 year old count In the reservation?

Hiya, Paige. Thanks for visiting planDisney! We're glad you are here.

It appears that you have your sights set on Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Breakfast Buffet at Storytellers Cafe. This is my personal favorite Character Dining at the Disneyland Resort. The cuisine has something for everyone, and Guests of all ages will enjoy Mickey and his pals meandering through the dining area! When making dining reservations, Guests of all ages should be included in the reservation.

Paige, sometimes it can be tough to find a dining reservation at the right location, at the right time, and with the right number of seats. Fortunately, if you've already grabbed a dining reservation, in my experience I've had luck adding (or subtracting) a person from my party when I check in for my reservation. I suggest arriving early to check in and notifying a Cast Member that you'd like to add another seat. Please note that changes are not guaranteed and are subject to availability and space, but I've found them accommodating in most situations. So if you come with your patience and flexibility, I hope they find you some pixie dust so that the three of you can dine together.

Paige, there are several other excellent Character Dining experiences throughout the Disneyland Resort. So if you are still looking for the perfect one or one that better meets your needs, check out Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel, Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at Napa Rose, or Minnie & Friends - Breakfast in the Park which is inside Disneyland Park! Please note for the Minnie & Friends breakfast a valid theme park ticket and park reservation are required.

I hope this information helps you plan a most magical visit. Come see us again if you have any more questions!

    See you in the parks,
    Melissa
