Hi Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney! As a fellow
Magic Key holder, I’m so excited for you to take advantage of everything your Believe Key has to offer. Let’s walk through how park hopping works so you can make the most of your visits.
The good news is yes! You can absolutely enjoy both parks during your visit, just like a Park Hopper ticket. When you make your theme park reservation, you’ll select a starting park for your day. That reservation simply determines where your Disneyland day begins. From there, you’re free to hop between
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park starting at 11:00 AM, as long as both parks have availability. If you plan to arrive after 11:00 AM, you can actually enter either park first, regardless of which one you selected when making your reservation. It’s a nice bit of flexibility that can come in handy as plans shift.
One tip I always like to share is to think of your starting park as your “rope drop strategy,” then let the rest of your day unfold from there. For example, you might kick things off with a few favorites in Disneyland, then hop over to Disney California Adventure later for attractions, snacks, or nighttime entertainment. It’s a great way to balance both experiences in a single visit.
While you’re in the app, be sure to check out the
Magic Key portal. It’s your hub for exclusive perks and limited-time offerings. During events like the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, Magic Key holders can sometimes enjoy special extras like discounted Sip and Savor Passes or fun seasonal activities that add an extra layer of magic to your day.
Jennifer, I hope this helps you feel confident using your Believe Key to its fullest. With that built-in flexibility, you’ve got so many options to create the kind of Disneyland day that fits your style. If any other questions come up as you continue planning, we’d be happy to welcome you back to planDisney.
Have a magical day filled with park-hopping fun!
David
