Hi! Going on the Magic in June. My daughters received Disney gift cards for their birthday. Can they be used on the ship or at Castaway Cay to buy things? They are really looking forward to using them to get some Mikey items! Thanks!

    Ahoy Kristen!

I'm thrilled you are taking advantage of having the Disney Magic up in your neck of the woods this summer! Your voyage down the eastern coast of the United States will be a vacation filled with many pixie dusted moments!

Disney Gift Cards are great to have onboard because there are plenty of Mickey souvenirs to be found in the shops both on the ship and on Castaway Cay.  They won't be able to use them directly, but they can be applied to your stateroom account.  All purchases on the ship and on Castaway Cay will be charged to your "Key to the World" card which will also serve as your room key.  Any time during your cruise, just visit Guest Services with your daughters' gift cards and have them apply them to your account.    You can view your onboard charges on your stateroom TV or at Guest Services as often as you like! We've used gift cards on all our cruises, and the process is very simple.

I hope my answer helps with your planning!  Please let me know if you have any other cruise questions before your departure!  I'm always happy to help!

    Have a magical day!
