    We are going on the Magic in December 2017. I have not been on a holiday cruise before! I can't wait! Do they still have a pirate night even on the holiday cruise? How many nights will we need dressy clothes?

    Welcome aboard, Tiffany! It sounds like you're setting sail on the Disney Magic's seven-night Very Merrytime Western Caribbean sailing from Miami! I'm so excited for you because not only do you have some beautiful ports of call to visit and lots of the magical Disney activities to enjoy onboard, but you'll also be experiencing the thrills of a holiday cruise with Captain Mickey!

    Don't worry! You will not miss out on Pirate Night just because this is a Christmas cruise. Your seven-night sailing will include Mickey's Pirates IN the Caribbean Deck Party, so be sure to pack some pirate gear for even more swashbuckling fun! As far as dinner attire, besides Pirate Night, which is also a Cruise Casual dress night for those not wearing pirate gear, you'll have four other Cruise Casual nights onboard. Then, you'll get to enjoy both a Formal night and a Semi-Formal night. On the Very Merrytime Cruises, on Semi-Formal night, many of the Disney characters will be out in their Christmas best, though schedules could change and they may wear their Christmas outfits another night instead. But, if you have Christmas clothes for your family, bring them along, because you'll have lots of great opportunities for photos to use for Christmas cards! Even Santa will make an appearance onboard to meet with guests!
