    I have magic your way 6 day park hopper tickets and im going to disney in june.....once im at disney can i upgrade my tickets to annual passholder tickets and just pay the difference in the cost?

    Hi, Misty! Thanks so much for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I actually did a ticket exchange this past summer, and it is a very easy process.

    Once you begin your vacation at Walt Disney World Resort, just head to any Guest Services location and let them know you would like to upgrade the ticket to an Annual Pass. The Cast Members will take it from there. You will only be charged the difference in price between the current price of the six-day Park Hopper ticket and the current Annual Pass price.

    One thing you may want to consider is if you bought your ticket from an authorized Disney ticket seller, such as Undercover Tourist, rather than directly through Disney Parks. These tickets are also eligible to be upgraded, and are a great way to help you save a bit on an Annual Pass. In my experience, I used the ticket first to "lock in" the current price of the ticket, and then went to Guest Services to have it upgraded. I had read that sometimes there could be issues obtaining the current price of the ticket if it was not used before the upgrade. However, others have reported no issues at all. I would just check the current prices of both tickets before you leave for your vacation so you could have an idea of what you should pay, and then wish upon a star that you hear the same amount when you upgrade!
