Welcome aboard, Rodney! This December will be the perfect time to head south and enjoy a
Very Merrytime Cruise aboard the Disney Magic!
My family and I just returned from Disney Cruise Line's first Very Merrytime Cruise of the season last week and can tell you that you are in for all sorts of holiday fun when you set sail! From the tree lighting ceremony to gingerbread house decorating and the Deck the Deck party, you'll be entertained from day to night!
Your seven-night Magic cruise on December 14 this year will include both a Formal Night (on your first full sea day, night 2) and a Semi-Formal Night (on your last sea day, night 6). You'll see a wide range of dress on those evenings, but a nice dress shirt and tie with dress slacks would be absolutely appropriate for both nights. If you wanted to dress it up even more, a blazer on Formal Night would be great, or a suit, but it's not required. My family likes to dress up in our fanciest outfits that we pack on Formal Night, as it's rare that all of us are dressed up together and can get family photos! We like to get our pictures with the Disney characters on those nights as even Mickey and his crew will put on their best that night for photos! What fun!
Have fun planning, Rodney and enjoy your magical cruise!
