Hey howdy hey, Bernadette.

I’m so glad you rode like the wind with Bullseye here to planDisney. Welcome! You’re in for a rootin’-tootin’ good time on your Walt Disney World Resort vacation in a few weeks. Not only will you be able to experience the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival during your trip, but you’ll be immersed in the EARidescent excitement of The World’s Most Magical Celebration from start to finish of your vacation.

You’ll be delighted to know that MagicBands are indeed waterproof. Your MagicBand can be used for a multitude of purposes during your trip from linking your Disney PhotoPass photos to your My Disney Experience account to unlocking your Disney Resort hotel room door and charging purchases to your Disney Resort hotel room during your stay. They make vacationing at The Most Magical Place on Earth a breeze!

If you haven’t yet heard, the next generation of MagicBand, MagicBand+, launches sometime this summer. While we’ve heard some details about the exciting new features of MagicBand+, I have yet to see confirmation that they will also be waterproof. I’m crossing my fingers they will be, but I suggest keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for more details as the MagicBand+ release date approaches.
