    We have Magic Bands we used last year. Next month, my son is going to WDW with his school to compete in a Choir Competition. They are not staying on site. Can he use his old Magic Band and have his ticket linked to it once he arrives at the park?

    Thank you for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, we are here to help and happy to do so.

    Absolutely, he can use his old Magic Band and assigning his ticket to it, is quite simple. As soon as you receive his Magic Your Way ticket, simply sign into your My Disney Experience account. Select the option: View My Tickets and scroll down to Tickets and Passes. On the right side of the page you will see: Link Tickets, select this prompt. The tickets has a 12-digit ID, you will be asked to enter. Once you do so, you can then assign it to your son. Any Magic Bands he has active will now recognize the ticket when he enters any of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks.
