    Hi. Are the magic bands sold or delivered to us by Disney be the only ones that will work? Or if I get it at amazon for example, can Disney make it work? Thanks.

    Thank you for stopping by with another question. I would not suggest purchasing a MagicBand from a third-party seller online through a site like Amazon. While MagicBands can be reused there is not a guarantee the MagicBand you purchase online is in good working condition. MagicBands are also not permitted to be used by others. According to the MagicBands Frequently Asked Questions on DisneyWorld.com, "Once a MagicBand is linked to your Disney account, it cannot be transferred to another person. In addition to touching your MagicBand or card to a touch point, you will be required to scan a finger to enter the parks."

    As a reminder, MagicBands are available to all guests staying at Disney Resort hotels. MagicBands can also be purchased at Walt Disney World theme parks and the Downtown Disney area. Please let me know if I can help answer any other questions before your visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
