We have magic bands from a previous visit. Since we cannot check in until later in the day, do we need to check in before heading to the park?

    Hi David,
Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

You must be so excited about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Sounds like your countdown is in the single digits, which is awesome. Are you packed and ready to go? Got your sunscreen, rain jackets and flip flops?

You have a couple of options regarding your upcoming visit. You can check in using the My Disney Experience app and see if your room is ready when you arrive.  The system should send you a text message when your room is ready, including your room number.  Alternately, your room should be ready by 3 pm on your arrival day if you'd prefer to wait until later to go to your room.  You may drop your bags off with Bell Services at your resort if you would like to do that.

Since you mention that you already have MagicBands, if your park tickets are already linked to your My Disney Experience account, you can just head out and have fun and go to your resort later in the day.

David, here's to many happy memories during your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
