We have our magic bands on order but I have a ?. We have the Disney Dining Plan is this also linked to the magic bands so when we dine they just swipe our bands? And do they hold our dining confirmation numbers or do I just use the mobile app to show #s

    Hi Sheila!

Congratulations on booking your Walt Disney World vacation as well as being able to participate in the Magic Band process.

With guests who have the Disney dining plan are allotted credits for table service, quick service and snacks while at the Walt Disney World resort.  Your credits will be linked to your Magic Band and when you redeem a dining credit, it will be removed accordingly.  You will still need to visit guest services to see what credits are left on your dining plan, but you will not need to present a separate room key/card for your dining experiences.

When you book your dining experiences, your My Disney Experience app will list your reservations and will remind you when you have an upcoming dining reservation.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Malanie, New York

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
