    if we have magic bands can we use the same ones for our next visit? i read they have a 2 yr battery but what if it's longer than 2 yrs since we have been? rec ours Jan 2014 marathon wknd and will return Jan 2016 for marathon wknd -will they last or replace

    Hi Melissa! You're absolutely right! Magic Bands battery life is expected to last up to two years. You can choose to re-use them, but since you're at two years, I would definitely opt for new ones. It's easy to do, and you can even choose the colour for each member in your party in advance of your party on the My Disney Experience page of the website. Your bands will be shipped to you in advance of your vacation.
