    Can you get magic bands for a one day pass?

    Welcome to planDisney, Alex!  We are glad you brought your question to us today.

    I think MagicBands might just be my very favorite vacation accessories!  These handy wristbands make it so convenient to access admission and link Disney PhotoPass photos to My Disney Experience.  Guests who are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel may also use their MagicBands to unlock the door to their hotel room and charge purchases to their room folio.

    Any Guest is welcome to purchase a MagicBand to use with any length of ticket.  MagicBands are available in many retail shops throughout Walt Disney World Resort, and can also be ordered online from shopDisney.  I was just checking out the collection there and found quite a few patterns that caught my eye!  Once purchased, it is super easy to link your new MagicBand to your account using the instructions found inside the package.

    Alex, it is important to know that your ticket or pass is not "on" a specific MagicBand.  MagicBands are reusable; any and all active MagicBands linked to your account can be used to access your admission.  If you happen to have a MagicBand from a previous visit, you are welcome to use it.  As long as both the band and the ticket are linked to your profile they will work in conjunction with each other.  Likewise, if you purchase a new MagicBand to use with your one-day ticket, you may use that MagicBand again with a new ticket in the future.
