Can you now use magic bands to get on and off disney’s Cruise ships?

    Ahoy Ronya!

Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am always happy to hEAR when a fellow Minnesotan is planning to escape our winter wonderland onboard a Disney Cruise Line ship.  How exciting that you will be sailing with Captain Mickey this winter!

Disney Cruise Line continues to issue a Key to the World Card to each guest as identification while onboard as well as for when you debark and return to the ship.  This card is also linked to your stateroom account and used for onboard charges.  Your Key to the World Card has great information on it including your rotational dining schedule, table number and muster station.

MagicBands are used onboard if you have pirates-in-training that are registered for the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab.  Kids simply touch the MagicBand to the Mickey Kiosk to check in and out of the youth clubs.  If your pirate is not authorized to check themselves in and out of the club, they will also need a parent to give the established secret word for check out.  MagicBands are for use while onboard and can be purchased at the end of your sailing for a small fee.

Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any additional questions you have before your high seas adventure!
