Heigh-Ho Kelly,
Welcome to planDisney, I am happy to help with your curiouser and curiouser inquiry. Guests with a Walt Disney World vacation package have the opportunity to purchases a discounted Disney MagicBand, before their arrival, through their
My Disney Experience profile. To order, sign in to your My Disney Experience profile and select “My Magic Bands & Cards” or under your Resort Reservation select “Choosing MagicBands.” A list of Guests, included in your Resort Reservation, should appear. Select a Guest and follow the prompts for selecting this Guest’s MagicBand. You will do this for each Guest.
Disney MagicBands are a great way to show your Disney-side, so consider having them participate in their selection.
But what if you choose not to order a Disney MagicBand? Hakuna Matata. Walt Disney World does not mail Walt Disney World tickets to Guests. Instead, Guests have two options to access their tickets, Keys to the World Cards or creating a digital pass through the Disney MagicMobile service. Both of which are free to Guests.
A Key to the World Card is a hard ticket Guests can receive upon arrival to their Walt Disney World Resort, at the front desk. A Cast Member will happily assist in assigning your party Keys to the World Cards to be used for the entirety of your trip. You will also be able to have charging privileges and gain access to your room with your hard copy ticket. Another way to receive your ticket, if you are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, is before entering their first Walt Disney World Theme Park make your way to the Guest Relations/Ticket Counter. Here a Cast Member can assign each Guest a Key to the World Card and you are set to begin your magical adventure.
The
Disney MagicMobile Service is now an option for Guests. Guests, with eligible iPhones, Apple Watch or Google Pay enabled Android phones, can create digital passes through their
My Disney Experience mobile app. Here Guests can create and design a digital pass for each ticketed Guest. And no need for each Guest to have a device, all the tickets can be created on one device and accessed or shared between similar devices, if necessary.
I hope this helps and we look forward to welcoming you Home to The Most Magical Place On Earth. Check out the
Know Before You Go page for any updates on guidelines and procedures happening around the Walt Disney World Resort and follow the

Have a Practically Perfect Day,
