If we have magic bands do we need to sjow id at the park the first day?

    Welcome to planDisney, Heather!

One of the reasons that I love my MagicBand is that I do not have to do a thing when I arrive at the theme parks. I just tap my MagicBand at the theme park's entrance and hear that wonderful little "ding" that lets me know I have just been granted access to the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Heather, while normally you will not need to go to the ticket booth to visit the first day, there are a few exceptions. If you purchased a Florida Resident or Military ticket, for example, you will need to head to the ticket booth to show your identification. If you just purchased a standard theme park ticket and linked it to your My Disney Experience Account, you will be good to go!

    Have a magical time!
