I got our magic bands in the mail along with the memory maker card. Do I need to bring the card to the parks or can someone in my party get their MagicBand scanned?

Hi, Jessica! Your trip is getting so close! I am so glad you have completed your prepurchase of Memory Maker. You will love having Disney's PhotoPass photographers handle all of the magical shots for you. Make sure to get a great picture of the family in front of Cinderella Castle!

Take a look at your My Disney Experience account and let's make sure a few things can be found there. First, is your Memory Maker purchase linked to your account? If you do not see it under the My Reservations and Tickets page, then you need to link it to your account. Next, make sure each member of your party is listed in your Friends and Family list. Are their MagicBands and theme park tickets linked? If not, you will want to link those to your account so that when they take a PhotoPass picture or experience an attraction that features on-ride pictures/videos, then those will appear in your Memory Maker. When you click Edit next to each person's profile, you will want to look on the next screen and click the option that allows this friend to view and purchase my PhotoPass photos. If you have done all of these, then you are all ready to take some amazing pictures! No need to bring the Memory Maker card, since it will be linked to your MagicBands. You can bring it, just to be on the safe side if you like, in case one of the photographers has difficulty accessing your Memory Maker. The photographers also have PhotoPass cards they can scan for you to later link the picture to your account.

I hope you have a picture-perfect vacation, Jessica!
