    Are magic bands automatically provided for us if staying within WDW property? Also we are looking to stay 5 days 4 nights my daughters 5th birthday is August 10. Do you think getting a dinning plan would be easier?

    Hello again, Braelyn! I know you must be getting so excited about planning your daughter's birthday trip to Walt Disney World. You are going to have such a wonderful time exploring the Disney Theme Parks as you celebrate your birthday princess!

    MagicBands are indeed automatically provided for Guests of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels. After you have linked your Disney Resort hotel confirmation number in My Disney Experience, you will have the option of personalizing your MagicBands before they are shipped to you. You will be able to select the color, as well as the text that goes inside of each MagicBand.

    As far as the Disney Dining Plan goes, I can only advise you to weigh the options with your family's needs before selecting a plan. It can be a great value for families, and the added convenience of touching a MagicBand to pay instead of pulling out cash or credit cards really helps Guests to travel light at Walt Disney World.

    I highly recommend taking a look at the current 2015 Disney Dining Plan brochure to get an idea of what to expect on your visit.
