    Our magic bands have already been mailed and should be here soon. We have now decided we want to purchase the Memory Maker. Will our bands be scanned at the hotel so the Memory Maker shows up on each of our bands?

    Hello Margaret, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Oh my goodness, if your MagicBands have already been mailed, that means your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation is coming up so soon!

    Memory Maker is a product that allows you to download all your Disney PhotoPass photos, including ride and attraction photos, photos from character greeting and dining locations, and photos taken by Disney PhotoPass photographers throughout Walt Disney World Resort.  Go ahead and purchase your Memory Maker -- you will not need to do anything special to your MagicBands to use it.  As long as all members of your party are connected to your My Disney Experience account, you'll be able to see everyone's photos, even if taken when you are not all together.  Once purchased, you will see the Memory Maker entitlement in your My Disney Experience account.  You will activate it when you download your first photo.  You will then have 30 days to capture additional photos.

    Your ride and attraction photos and videos will automagically link to your account.  When capturing photos with a Disney PhotoPass photographer, they will scan your MagicBand to link the photos to your account.  Don't forget to ask photographers if they have any Magic Shots available -- you never know what fun surprises will appear in your photos!
