Oh boy... in just a few short days, you'll be making your way to The Most Magical Place on Earth. It's time to get excited! I'm here to help you gear up for your thrill-filled getaway.
Holly, MagicBand and
MagicBand+ add convenience and value to any Walt Disney World Resort vacation. For either band type, first, you'll want to ensure your band is linked to your profile in
My Disney Experience. (It sounds like your MagicBand is already properly linked, since you see that it's "Active!") For MagicBand+, the newest generation of band, you'll also want to
pair the band to your mobile device by completing the onscreen prompts in the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Take this opportunity to check in the app whether your band has any outstanding updates available as well. Finally, the night before you plan to use your MagicBand+, I recommend fully charging it overnight with the charging cable provided in the box. This will ensure that its pixie dust power is at full capacity before use, enabling you to access enchanting interactions in the theme parks!
If you run into any tech-y troubles during the MagicBand setup process, you can always dial the friendly Cast Members at the
My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+ phone line for assistance. Alternatively, I've had occasional luck reaching out to the Internet Help Desk Cast Members available via the chat functionality on the Walt Disney World Resort website or in the mobile app!
