MagicBand+ on Friends; Main Street; pairing

    I have a magic band plus I git in 2022 and used for one visit. It won’t charge (used the same charger that charged another one fine) it will light up when placed on a charger but won’t charge. I can’t turn on or factory reset as the button does nothing.

    I am so sorry that your MagicBand+ is not currently working or charging. Luckily, Disney has a special department called Merchandise Services. This department is dedicated to helping you with any issues you have concerning purchases made while visiting Disney Theme Parks. You can contact them directly if you have an item that is broken or not working properly and they will help you get to the bottom of the issue and can also provide replacement products if something is still under warranty. I would recommend that you give them a call to see if they can help you. You can also email them at merchandise.guest.services@disneyparks.com with your purchase information and the issue you are having and they will help you by email if that is what you prefer. Since the purchase is a few years old, they may not be able to offer any solutions but it is worth a try. 

    If you can not get your MagicBand+ working and don't want to purchase a new one, you can use something called MagicMobile directly on your phone. I love MagicMobile because it turns your phone into a MagicBand. You can use your MagicMobile pass for your theme park tickets, to charge food and souvenirs back to your Disney Resort hotel room, for Virtual Queues and Lightning Lane Entrances, and for PhotoPass images! I used to be opposed to having my phone out all the time but one of the great things about this service is Express Mode which can be used without even unlocking your phone if you have an Apple device. There is no scrolling to find everything, just tap your phone and it pops up! It is super easy to set up and convenient to use.
